Well...
we have all heard about the Prop 8.
The one that considered important and really crucial for Californian especially the Gays and Lesbians community there.
I guess... we all must take a stand against it.
Cause it is an unfair act against human rights for loving each other selflessly.

Maybe most of you will think, why me, an Indonesian who live in Singapore, bothers so much about this case. I should have take a stand for my own country's stuff. Maybe like the 377A in Singapore or even try to legalize Gay marriage in Indonesia.
The answer is that: one can't possibly stand against the majority. I live in Asian society where cultures are implemented to a great monstrous extend that it is impossible to legalize what we think should be legalized.
And FYI, yeah..
I am gay.

We have seen all the ads that saynotoprop8 does and maybe the sayyestoprop8 did too.
i have no idea what to say about it. but, the propaganda is indeed the best way to get people's attention. However, it goes all back to one's personal ideas about marriage and loving someone with whole of your life.

We all know that homosexuality is not exactly the thing that people consider normal. Especially with all the judgment about homosexuality as source of STDs and HIV.
I could not say that it is wrong, because personally I've seen a lot of cases on it within my community.
But, it's the minority. Most of us are actually struggling to support of what we believe it's a human rights and that it is our rights to get married as a human.
and if you are humane enough, you'll take a stand against prop 8.

It is not our choice that we ended up being homosexuals. It is not us -nor anyone, to be blamed for us liking a person of the same sex gender. But it is OUR choice to decide which is the right things to do and which isn't. And WE will blame ourselves if human rights violation is to happen once again on the surface of this world.
What will differ Californian Government to Hitler? They take away happiness of the minority and violate many human rights. This will happen if Prop 8 is to take a stand in California -and eventually, the world.

Talking about prop8, everyone is concerned about what will be taught in school to the kids. Some mentioned, they will be taught about homosexualities some say they won't.
Either way or two, kids will learn about it. It's the way we live now.
It's a part of our life. Face it! Don't hide from it!
As normal citizen, we didn't know what will really happen after prop 8 is legalized or unlegalized. but still, the sex education in school should not only educate children about sex organs, condoms usage and STDs. They should also learn about sexual orientations and more.
You never know, this might prevent them from getting out of hand with their orientations.
And believe me, gays do not want more gays in the world.
personally me, i want others to learn and try their best not to be like i am.

Facing the religious views. We should seen from every inch of aspects.
Yes, God do punish Sodom & Gomorrah but there're not only homosexualities there but all sorts of problems such as paedophillia, incest and prostitutions.
but God teaches us that it's all about Love.
and how can you prevent Love to grow?
Prop8 will give nothing more than hates. hates against the minorities and devastations for more people.
That, Ladies & Gentlemen, Would create a havoc just like the olden days.

We all know that government constitution is always about equality,  justice and giving everyone a fair shots.
while the prop 8, is all about what is appropriate, judgment and eventually violation of human rights.
Giving people chance to be equal and for them to live life like what life should be, is what is right...
To life live, Love Life, Live Love

So Please,
Take A Stand Against Prop 8!
Support the social equality and put human rights above what is appropriate or any other judgments in the society.
